HASKELL HANDICAP (Gr I)

Racing at Monmouth Park on the shores of New Jersey

Even with rain and a sloppy track, Rachel Alexandra muscled a field of six colts to romp home to a six-length victory in the $1.25 million Haskell Invitational in the mud.  This filly doesn’t care if it rains.

She just missed the stakes record by  a fifth of a second and the track record by two-fifths of a second.

This super filly is out of Lotta Kim (Northern Dancer) and sired by Medaglia D’Oro ( Northern Dancer) who stands at Darley Stud in Kentucky.
