Birdstone

Birdstone is the winner of the  2004 Belmont Stakes defeating Smarty Jones.

I am so glad for the Birdstone connections and Gainesway Farm.  Gainesway Farm is on some of the finest bluegrass land in Kentucky and continues to sire some of the finest thoroughbreds in the world.

Gainesway

Birdstone’s sire, Grindstone, won the 1996 Kentucky Derby

His stud fee at this moment is $10,000 but he is booked for the coming season and why shouldn’t he?  A Belmont winner sired by a Kentucky Derby winner, with two progeny, Mine that Bird and Summer Bird winner, respectivly the Kentucky Derby and The Belmont Stakes.

Birdstone is a sire standing at Stud at Gainesway Farms. What is amazing about this horse is that this is his first crop of horses and Mine That Bird won the Kentucky Derby and Summer Bird won the Belmont Stakes.

Can this sire breed winners or what???
